Chris Young for this guy?

Broxton had nothing to cheer about today.

Dodgers reliever Jonathan Broxton, recently acquired by the Bashful Satanists in a deal that sent Padres starter Chris Young to the Herzogs, is the Dodgers closer of the future. Unfortunately for the Satanists, that future doesn't appear to be getting here any sooner. Broxton's abysmal outing today -- 2 H, 5 ER, 3 BB, no outs -- pushed his spring ERA to 18.00. It looks like the Jackrabbits' Takashi Saito (1 perfect IP, 1 K, 0.00 ERA) has nothing to worry about so far.

Saito is the closer--end of story. Broxton was and will remain a non-factor--BB
