What!? What!? In the BUTT? BUTT?

The rallying cry of partners Sal Goldstein and Randy Stopher for this year's Blunted Stophers team has been "What!? What!? In the Butt! Butt!"

Now, we know why.

In the midst of their most important game of the young season, news has broke that has rocked the CWFLB and the sports world. Randy Stopher -- the namesake and face of the Blunted Stopher franchise -- is openly homosexual.

An e-mail from fellow CWFLB league owner, the Elephant Balls' George Pastino, alerted the Woco Baseball Blog last night of Stopher's orientation by providing a link to a list of gay Pennsylvania real estate agents on www.gayrealestate.com. The first name on the list? (Fourth if you're using Firefox) None other than Randy Stopher.

Says Stopher in his bio on the site:
I’m a gay man and have been happily married to my partner for 17 years. We have owned multiple homes together, first in the heart of “center city” Philadelphia, and for the past nine years in suburban Montgomery County.

I transitioned into real estate after 25 years of selling high-end jewelry. I know this area inside and out and from many perspectives. The friendly people, the rolling countryside, miles of bike trails, canoeing on the Schuylkill River, the beauty of the seasons, farmer’s markets, great local shopping and a “happening” downtown Phoenixville renaissance make this the best place we’ve ever lived. Gay Bingo? Every Friday. And don’t miss the D.C. Cowboys when they perform at our annual Chester County Pride Festival. The City of Brotherly love is a mere 45-minute drive away and is bursting with more theatres, museums, restaurants, history, nightlife, The Gayborhood and much more. And mid-town Manhattan is 90 minutes up the road.

Please click the Contact Agent Button. I’m willing to share my little part of heaven with you, especially since you’re in the Family.
While he doesn't mention his "partner" by name, one can only imagine how many times Randy's made that 90-minute trek to Manhattan.

"I guess this explains why we can't get a hold of Sal on Friday night," said one league owner.

The news didn't come as a shock to everyone, however.

"It's no surprise to us," said another owner. "They seem to like getting their asses pounded."

Stopher says his specialties are: "Helping LGBT people to buy and sell their homes. I also specialize in helping first-time homeowners; executives who are relocating with their partners; and LGBT families with children. Whether you’re upsizing or downsizing into a condos, town home or McMansion I can help you to find the perfect place to call home."

"McMansion?," said another owner when told of the news. "That just sounds like something Sal might say."

The news might help explain why Stopher didn't return e-mails from the league office when invited to attend the CWFFL Draft two years ago.

Stopher is the first known homosexual owner in CWFLB history, although questions have been raised before, specifically regarding the use of the team name "Daddy's Little Boys."

"It's unfortunate the most progressive thing about their team is employing queers," said another owner who wished to be unidentified.

Indeed, after a hot start, the Blunted Stophers have fallen back to earth. First, by losing their subway series to Hells Kitchen Herzogs, and while they hold a 50-point lead on their rival MattroStars, they've got no A-Rod and no starts, while the Stars' have four remaining. After a promising 2-0 start, the Stophers are spiraling downward, back towards a place they're much more familiar with: The bottom.

One thing's for certain: The Stophers have won their battle for the back page, and likely the front page, of the New York papers. One question still burns in the mind of one owner, however:

"I want to know what George was doing on gayrealestate.com."
