King Felix counts how many hits he allowed to the Red Sox.
In what Blunted Stophers owner Sal Goldstein called a preview of next week's two-start head-to-head matchup, Dice-K and King Felix squared off Wednesday night in Matsuzaka's Fenway Park opener. While the game was billed as Dice-K vs. Ichiro, peeps kind of forgot about the best young pitcher in baseball. While everyone was kissing The Zip's ass, salivating over gyroballs and 250-pitch, 17-inning performances from high school, King Felix decided to throw a complete game, one-hit shutout. Felix what!?!?!?!
For those of you counting at home, The King has now pitched 17 innings in his first two starts, allowing an amazing 4 hits and 4 walks (that's a 0.23 WHIP) while striking out 18. Two starts, 71 fantasy points. Oh, and he just turned 21, so get used to it. King Felix and the MattroStars will be reigning over the CWFLB for the next 15-20 years. Just when you thought the MattroStars couldn't get any better, King Felix and King Richard (Harden: 13 IP, 13 Ks) went and blew up.
Long live The Kings!

A grainy YouTube video from June of '06... pretty telling stuff. Bonds is done, get over it.
